Oh Ho! Okay so. I have a one piece OC that I have like so much info on and so little. There are many details that I have not nailed down.
Her bounty is Kingkiller Kojo. Did she kill a king? I have yet to determine! But she certainly had the opportunity.
So basically, I got to thinking about how the Revolutionary Army does organizing, and it feels more like an external group coming in and solving the problem for a community, as opposed to giving the community the tools to solve their own problems. Sure, we saw them arm people, but it just felt like "we have one solution that we will enable" sort of thing. So what if, like in the real world, there was someone deeply involved in a different philosophy of organizing? One in which communities were given the tools to use as they wanted, and to analyze and value their own experience as experts in their communities? Sort of Highlander School Myles Horton style thing.
Kojo is older, and a new member of the Strawhats (of course) because Oda has yet to deliver on a grandma for the crew. Don't get me wrong I am in love with and married to Jinbe, but can I please have another woman, and an old one, Oda-sensei??
They meet her on a supposedly abandoned island. She's a striker, someone who's familiar with the area (generally native to it), and is able to lead a crew to safe food and water, and avoid the Navy. Maybe she's the quartermaster (though it seems like Nami takes on that role). Either way, they meet her on an island. She just kind of pops up. Which, you'd be surprised by, right? Because at least 4 folks in the crew are confirmed to have Observation Haki.
But!
Kojo has developed a Haki technique that allows her to escape Observation Haki and move around undetected.
She was an assassin when she was young and has honed the skill her whole life. She is probably 97, I am deciding right now. Kureha is like 150 so I'm valid and so is she lmao.
She has the knit-knit fruit, which allows her to treat bodies and her environment like they are knitted items. She can unravel someone into a pile of loose flesh-yarn. She also has knit her own body to alter it and disguise herself, including being able to change her height.
If anyone remembers that Magic School Bus illustration that showed what a torso might look like if your intestines were laid out straight instead of folded on top of one another? She can do that.
I was also thinking she miiiight be the ship therapist because damn are these people all traumatized af. And her unraveling technique could be applied to mental and psychological knots as well.
I have a comic idea for her introduction and an illustration idea for the origins of her bounty name.
She likes Luffy because he rejects the status quo and I think it's interesting that someone titled Kingkiller would be on the Pirate King's crew.
