LONG VERSION: I had began blogging, and I wanted to make friends, so I forced myself to comment on EVERYTHING that I read, and say whatever was on my mind, no matter how stupid (I was that desperate for simming friends).

I found @jaxxis‘s story ‘And Then It Rained’ on Wordpress, and was instantly hooked, once I got caught up, I started commenting, and then she checked out my ‘Lee Legacy’, and we developed a friendship that way, and I found out that she lived 2 hours away.

Then I accidentally found her Facebook because we both liked a FB page of a blog we read, and she’d commented on something. I asked her if it was okay to send her a request, since we were already friends. And she gave me the go ahead.

I thought she was very attractive, and really wanted to meet her. So once when she was online, I sent her an IM asking if it was okay/not too creepy to message her. It eventually escalated to the point where we were IMing every day when I’d get home from work.

Then one day I got the guts to ask if we could video chat, and she agreed. We began doing THAT every night.

Then I invited her and her family to a concert at my church (because I really wanted to meet her). They came down and we really hit it off.

And it just kinda escalated from there.

tl;dr I met her through blogging on wordpress, found her on facebook, invited her to a concert at my church, and it escalated from there.

Thank you! I’m studying History! More specifically Modern History, or at least that’s what most of my options will be centered around. History’s kinda my thing and though it has nothing to do with my wanting to be a writer, it’s what I want to do most besides that!

Though scary as all fuck, it is possible to get through it. The first weeks are the hardest while you get use to an unfamiliar place, but take it one day at a time and you should be fine.

The last time I made a new friend 100% on my own was about seven years ago, so it’s definitely going to be interesting - scary as all fuck definitely covers it. Thanks, I know I’ll probably get through it but damn is the reality hitting hard.

They’re freaking adorable, but there’s so many! There’s over 100 of these things, like the highest number I have so far is 117 and there’s newer ones coming out all the time. Safe to say for someone with collecting habits like me... it’s a money drainer :P

i am like that too, i got some sunblock from my dermatologist and i am so good about it but i STILL get burnt. and i don't even get a tan for my trouble, just lobsterish until i am pale again

I’m exactly the same about not getting the tan for my troubles too, I’m just red and flaky until it goes away and then I’m pale as crap again. I use like factor 50 and top up whenever we need to but apparently the fair skin gene is too strong and it just keeps getting through!

The deadline is quickly approaching. I'm awaiting sims from jaxxis simtimate and sandrakbts3. I haven't heard from you guys, so please just let me know if you're still planning on sending sims or need an extension. If you're unable to, let me know as well because I need to open a spot then. Deadline is July 10th so that I may start as soon as possible!

Thoughts, Prayers, and Well Wishes, Please?

Hey guys, so my wife jaxxis hasn't been feeling well for a while now. And even on the antibiotics that the doctor gave her, she feels like crap. It's been too long that she's been feeling like poop, and we are both getting frustrated. I'm used to asking for prayer, but I know some of you guys don't really believe in that... so yeah. Please keep both of us (cuz I've contracted some kind of stomach bug yesterday) in your thoughts and prayers and stuff. Thanks!

I say just get the chair. It may not last as long (me and Nate have an inexpensive chair too) but it’s just… better than hurting yourself on your stomach. Better to be comfortable.

I have to agree with my wife, and not just cuz she’s my wife. Get the chair so you aren’t hurting yourself now. And then hopefully later, you could save the occasional buck here or there for a better one. And cheap chairs aren’t always that bad… Especially if it’s a couple of YEARS thay you’d have to wait to get a good pricey chair.

The problem isn’t that it is cheap, the problem it is tested/guaranteed for a certain weight limit and I am over that weight limit. That’s what I am worried about. It might not even last me a year, it might just last me a couple months which would be a terrible waste of money. And I just can’t afford a $200+ price tag right now. I can barely even afford a $50 price tag. Then again I don’t know if/when I’ll finally luck into a job e_o maybe I should just stay on the bed for now.
