I swear, I love analyzing Animal kingdom so much!

I finally finished season one and I swear pope only looked so intimidating in S1 because of his prison hair. Every time I see Jay defending Smurf, it breaks my heart because the shit she probably has done to the Cody brothers is beyond repair and since Jay didn't experienced the same trauma as them (I know he has his fair share bc of his mom) he sees the good in Smurf.

Do you think despite his hatred for the family the reason Jay always seemed to ‘care’ about pope the most is because he was his mums twin?

Honestly between the four of them, I would say Jay or Deran should be in charge.

Pope is too unstable and Craig doesn't have the skill or mind set for the entire operation.

Jay or Deran both have the smarts, the temperament, and the guts to run the whole thing.

Hot Take on AK

While the rest of the boys (children, really, based on this season and certainly this episode) ran straight to their Oldladies and Oldman after a flubbed job, making the situation astronomically worse for themselves and their family directly or indirectly whether they realize it or not, Jay cleaned house. He finished the job. He didn’t hesitate; there was no discussion or thought needed.

He practically did it with a smile on his face (okay, a grimace because he was mad, maybe I was the one smiling) and the only way it could have gone down any better is if he had also killed the boyfriend himself and if we had actually seen it happen.

If Jay hadn’t already come into his own after S1’s finale and proved himself a man, he certainly has in S4E8. He’s an adult now. He’s proved that he’s not only willing but also capable of surviving in this world, in the ‘life’, and is capable of doing what is necessary to survive.

Jay, my son, my boy, has officially taken control of the business and will win the ultimate “game of thrones”.

Let me just start off by saying that this might make me a fucked up indivisual but I tend to fall for the problematic characters so I knew getting into animal kingdom was going to be my down fall now let me rant.

1. I know these characters are fucked up and don't deserve any kind of forgiveness 2. These are my opinions you don't have to like or agree!

The season 2 finale has me feeling all kinds of emotions. & with the exception of Lucy Nikki and Smurf I love these boys and Lena and Adrian (I know it's fucked up)

I love that Deran finally accepted who he was and is comfortable in his own skin. I love that Pope Loves Lena like she is his Daughter! I love Pope in general (again I know fucked up) but this guy is damaged and so problematic he's my kinda character! I feel like he's been dealt a bad hand of cards and that's his life I feel like smurf turned him into something he didn't want to become. I LOVED the moment between baz and Pope even though I literally almost had a heart attack because I though Pope was gonna die but I love what baz said that he knows it was smurf who did it to him that he loves him and will always take care of him it's what Pope needs in his life. I love that When Pope felt like this was the end his main concern was who was gonna take care of Lena. I don't want baz to die because like it or not he is a HUGE part of this show! I just need Craig to get his shit together and stop being a child! I CANNOT WAIT FOR SEASON 3!
