Martin's Entire outburst section - it's the sweetheart "pushover" character who's finally been pushed far enough and now gets to turn around and go No. You listen to Me for once. and i loveeeeeee him for it </3 plus his neverending love for these people despite everything, he rly just wants the best for everyone and it makes me so inconsolable ☹️

This one speaks for itself. Jon risking his entire life just to get the real sasha's name out of not!sasha's filthy mouth - THE FACT ohh the fact that he didnt say a Thing through all it said about him, but the Second sasha's suffering is brought into it he cant hold back the need to shut it right the fuck up and ouuyyghhhhggg

the magnus archives is a podcast what the FUCK was that at the end of mag47

I'm torn between 'I never want to ever hear from it ever again' and 'ohhmygod please show up in another episode IMMEDIATELYYY' - the distortion on the audio was so creepy and so well done, the way it spoke too was sooo aauughh it was so very creepy /pos

I've got so many questions tho - to me, this ,, creature?? entity??? feels like along the lines of a god-like figure?? and it's choosing to interact with mortals, particularly those headlining one side of a particular oncoming,,, storm of sorts (jon mentioned a war?) in order to aid them? in some way? But by the sounds of it it cant overstep and intervene too much at risk of upsetting some sort of balance - i don't know, there's a Lot to be picked apart in that end conversation, and I'm Very excited to see what's coming next.

Sasha update: i still miss her, what the hell is going on

Martin update: 💞💞💞💞martin💞💞💞💞💞 (am i worried theres smth going on with him? a little bit, actually. do i believe this is more of a red herring and jon's paranoia getting to me? mostly, yes. did i find it increasingly funny that jon listed martin being attentive and caring towards him following the traumatic event they all just shared as something to be suspicious about? 1000%.)

WAIT I JUST REMEMBERED the entity saying "dont you know they're lying to you?" or something along those lines,,, implying perhaps they're All lying to him, in some way or another? Idk listen man i trust martin with my life, anything he's doing is obviously correct so theres nothing to worry about there -- theres the obvious case of sasha, and ik elias is sus af, but tim? what could He be lying about?

Or perhaps the "they" is the institute itself? as in elias and etc, the higherups? but idk, it showed up right after not sasha left, so i dont trust that it Wasnt talking abt the four.

Anyway, ramble over, I'm sure I'll reblog this at some point down the line when I know more, but !! for now, I shall sleep <3

ooohhh i wanna sit and pick apart jonathan and tim's arguement from the mag65 supplemental sooo bad---

the toneeee shift from sarcastic anger into jon's softer scheming voice and tim's stammering confusion, and finally their combined lack of knowledge and realisation that they're stuck in this together whether they like it or not shines through as they talk it through a little towards the end. Oh mygod.

AND ULTIMATELY i think it boils down to their respective fear and isolation following the prentiss attack -- tim because he feels like everyone turned their focus on "crazy, paranoid, stalker" jon, and jon because Of said paranoia driving him to push the others away. they fell Together during the attack, so in another world that shared trauma and damage should have brought them closer together, but alas, jon's distress at the new info being brought up about gertrude, paired also with the painful LACK of info, rly sent him on a spiral .-.

ALSOOO WE GOT THE FIRST SWEAR WORDD EVERYONE CHEER !!! perfect use, i love when curse words are used so sparingly if at all only to culminate into such a Moment in media.

anyway i love this arguement and this scene a Lot; tim finally releasing his clearly pent up anger, jon's defensiveness through his complete lack of trust, the trailbacks to elias'... incompetence.. leading into the explicit reveal that You Cannot Leave The Archives that's been lightly hinted at so far (the slight static here too was great), culminating into tim's helplessness and jon Continuing to violently distrust everyone around him and keep his emotional wall up and strong as ever -- it's Brilliant, im obsessed

i rly hope this leads into jon and tim learning to trust each other and working together, because they're IN this together and they Neeeeeed to.

bring martin in too, and while you're at it find the original sasha and Bring Her Home. pls.

Hello it's your favourite local new tma listener -- just finished mag 61 and !!!! i rly like daisy!!! I hope she shows up again like basira, they're gonna be an interesting duo i reckon

ALSOOOO THE RETURN OF THE COFFIN FROM MAG2 !!!! I GENUINELY CHEERED WHEN ALL THE SIGNS STARTED POINTING TO IT and now we know what's inside :OO this does of couse only open More questions than it does answer previous ones, but this is all so very intriguing

Also, I don't trust that this "tom" mentioned here is not the Same tom that not sasha is apparently dating - it was mentioned that his skin was a sort of rubbery texture, and jon said that all of the pictures of not sasha's tom looked like stock images, AND she's been said to frequent the wax museum. Idk, it all lines up in a weird way. Who and what he is though is the question that remains,,

EDIT: i forgot to talk about mag 59 and the return of The Table -- now we know what was inside the square hole on the side, which ties back into the apple inside the tree in mag 8 (holy shit i didnt realise how far back that was), and for whatever reason comes back around to... spiders??? Which i guess connects to not sasha's description of the table pattern being a web,,,,, hmmmmmm

It's easy to assume that The Table is responsible in whatever way for replacing people, since we have both mag 3 with graham and mag 39 with sasha as two separate cases of people being replaced with the table in vicinity - but there was no evidence of such a thing happening in this third (and in-universe chronologically the First) occurance of the table.

The table must also bring with it Le Creature, aka the weird fuckin shadowy thing that .. actually now that i think about it must be what not graham and not sasha looked like Before replacing the original people, so we can add that to the list of common Weird Guys that show up relatively consistently

Okay ramble over, I'm rly enjoying slowly being given more puzzle pieces and slotting them into place >:D

!!!!! OKAY SO i finished season one of tma last night and ohhhh my god i love this show so so much already, it was such a blast to see the whole cast interact in such a dynamic and well put together ep in mag39, and then all the little after-insights we got in mag40!!!

mmmmmm this show is about to get Interesting

I have a handful of theories based on the Very few notes I've collected (i wish i made more thru s1 - there are so many reoccurring names that i can never remember the origin of and it's driving me crazy - perhaps this will be a show i relisten to 🤔) but mostly i just miss sasha :( whatever is out there parading around as her is definitely Not sasha, and i rly rly hope she's okay, and that one of the other members picks up on it soon ☹️

OHH also martin is predictably my favourite :( he's simply soo lovely, i am awarding him the blorbo badge of honour as we speak <3

anything bad happens to him Ever and i will start throwing hands.

Okay i think that's it for now - I've been livetweeting my thoughts over on twt but I'm thinkin I can write out more coherent theories and thoughts on here so !!!!! I shall be back!!
