premise: maya saves a cat from being run over, which subsequently causes her to become a witch, and also discovers her abusive father’s murder plot, and just tries to live a semblance of a normal life.

premise: rahab and her friends discover a dead body while exploring a creepy abandoned house and it all goes downhill from there.

***this wip deals with very religious themes and is ultimately biased towards christianity—no offense directed towards any other religions, nor do I intend to "convert" anybody—this is ultimately my attempt at a more mature book for (not only, but I suspect mostly) christian audiences, dealing with the controversial ideas, such as christians who are also part of the lgbt+ community, the acceptance of those from other cultures and religions, the question of why God doesn't always heal us, etc, all hidden behind this murder-cult mystery plot solely bc I love murder mysteries lol***

minor characters. citizens of the island of superheroes. thirteen-year-old superheroes. trina naturally gravitates towards leadership roles and takes their responsibilities very seriously. dominique likes to joke around, mostly sarcasm and puns, and wears a leather jacket at all times—secretly she's a hopeless romantic. they spend nearly every moment together, being triplets. giselle is the sweetest peach you'll ever meet, though she might evangelize about veganism a bit much. looks like she could kill you and could actually kill you & looks like she could kill you and is actually a cinnamon roll & looks like a cinnamon roll and actually is a cinnamon roll.
