‘Halves of A Heart’

I gave them new looks and really thought that they deserve to be loved by this edit!

This is what comes to mind when I think about them!

When he lets himself be mesmerized by those purified, turquoise eyes, his mind felt at ease to speak of absolute clarity. “I’m.. home..”

And then Jayce felt his heart battered against his compressed ribcage when the owner of those eyes had his arms enveloped his gawky figure. Burying his head on top of his shoulder, Paul grazed against Jayce’s skin by his loving smile.

The blonde whispers to only him in such a silvery tone, Jayce felt the need to close his eyes and took in his breath-taking reassurance and heart melting affection. 

 “We’re home.” 

Jayce realized that he found himself a lasting motive to turn it into forevermore.

Facts of my ocs (1)

HARLEY

Sharp objects are really nerve-wrecking to them, especially if they’re knives and if it comes in contact with their skin. Sometimes in their attending highschool, Harley would see students writing things down on their skin with pen. Being very sensitive, Harley would immediately turn away try their best not to think about the feeling it gives off. They’re very sensititive with this.

JAYCE

Nature helps him be at ease. Especially if they’re household plants, and also very small! He has several small potted plants in his room when Jayce was around his preteens. Jayce does talk to them as well, since studies show that talking to plants do help them grow! Just not when his father is around, because he’ll end up harshly ridicule his only son. Not only do they provide nice company, but it also helps Jayce with speaking. Weird, but still helps him.

JESSIE

Money is a girl’s bestfriend. She all about trying to find ways to save money, make money, counting money, and anything related with money! Jessie does get a bit nitpicky of what she buys. The WANT vs NEED, basically. She gets it from her dad–who’s still in jail–and has been the one to teach her the values of money. Jessie does make mistakes of her spending here and there, but eventually knows how to spend wisely!

PAUL

He be a mommy’s boy. But Paul doesn’t care. There’s a saying that his dad goes, “a man loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the best, but his mother the longest.” Simple reason to this is because the mother is the first to show and express nurturing love towards her child. And his mother did give her all to love and take care of Paul. So he does express his love back to his mother by giving her flowers, daily reminders of how she’s doing a great job as a mother, occasional mother and son events that they go to (mother and son dance as an example), and surprising her with gifts. Yes, Paul’s father does the same with his wife–but he’s is often quite busy with overtime at work.

Why I love Payce as a whole

You know, i realize the main reason why I’ve always treasured Paul and Jayce so much. They’re an idea that feels so dream-like, that I dearly yearn to have it become a reality.

The way Paul is able to express not only to himself, but to others in the most sincere and wholesome way, primarily because he’s so connected with his emotions.

The formation of ideas that Jayce come with are, always original and intentionally justified, which is enough motivation for him commit and turn them into a reality.

With Paul and Jayce, they can really empower each other because they can make their lives more meaningful and colorful than what they originally had thought before even walking into each other’s lives. I can sense their radiant positivity, sparkling ideas, purest intent of their actions, and fill the empty spaces of what they felt was missing in each other’s lives. I really do have faith in these two the most, they’ve always been a idealistic dream that I did want to become a reality that could happen to myself one day.

[COPIED AND PASTED] Okay, just out of curiosity and need of opinion: Do you guys want me to work on Paul and Jayce when they were in their original age (17 - 19)? Like, I've been thinking about remaking their story for a while--considering that I didn't properly made them. I mean, I think they deserve to be properly developed but if you guys perfer to have them as they are--then that's also fine! But input on this would be appreciated, really!

Currently working on a video that's about an au I recently established not too long ago. 8) It'll be mainly about Paul and Jayce, but as their younger selves. Jayce in this au is really, really shy and has some self-esteem issues that can possibly lead too major social anxiety. But I'm excited to see how everyone else will think of it!! It'll be done soon!
