in ye olden days of fandom all it took for people to ship something was for the characters to wear red and blue. now two characters can know each other from childhood and actively go on cute little dancing dates and have each others back in the unintentionally erotic way that only superheros can while also wearing red and blue and fandom will look you in the eyes and call them siblings. we used to have culture. we used to have class. what happened.
