The origin story of an alien bluegrass band Future Folk. General Trius came to ready this planet and humanity for the rest of the Hondonians who needed to relocate because of a comet heading for their home planet, Hondo. He abandons that mission upon hearing music. When another Hondonian lands on Earth, discovers Trius, and hears music they form a band. And they’re actually a band in IRL and then made this movie? I did like their songs...do they have cds? May need to go download those, hmmmm. From the cover my sister said it looked like something Flight of the Conchords would do. Yep. Except they aren’t from New Zealand, they aren’t even...from this planet? And #DeeSnider from Twisted Sister is in it? omg. Also omg to filming those scenes at Sam’s Club/Menards/Costco/Home Depot or wherever in that costume😆 but them playing music - wowza, I definitely want the soundtrack of this movie at the very least. Why did he commute 140 miles to work? (that sounds terrible) Just to be able to have access to the missles? The alien that Trius fights was well done, if a bit unexplained - was he a bounty hunter/hit man? The dance number between Kevin and Carmen - whoawhoawhoa, and then her giving them a false lead at the end.
