A career change. It could be a good thing for Robbie. Earlier in the week, Renee messaged him about a new job opening for a forensic scientist company that she is connected to. He has a relevant degree and experience in the medical field from analytical chemistry to toxicology, it all sounded very exciting to him! Robbie mulled over his application, checking he had all the details before finally sending it off.

It has been a while since Renee and Robbie last saw their grandparents, so they visited Evergreen Harbour to surprise them! Travelling to far places was harder for Felix and Maya since they were getting on in their years, so they were overjoyed to see their grandchildren AND great-grandchildren ❤️

So how did we end up abroad? The two week holiday was planned a while back with Tomarang being their perfect place to visit. Jayleen's dad is of Filipino descent (while her mum is of Hawaiian) but she has never visited before! The morning after arrival, Robbie woke up with a lot on his mind and was struggling to push his thoughts aside. Jayleen knew he was thinking about work, so she wanted to cheer him up with a kiss. Even though Robbie was embarrassed by the attention, it did bring a smile to his face 😊

After two weeks in Tomarang, Robbie's mind was clearer from all of his previous distress. Since the climate in Tomarang was close to home, he ended up reminiscing about Sulani with Jayleen then expressing his love for her.
