I am slightly confused as to what's going on with the "sherlolly debacle" but that tends to be usual for me. I came by, did some reading, and enjoyed myself. I am following and will be reading Links of the Chain soon. Tah!

The “Sherlolly debacle” I assume you’re referring to is me responding to anon hate another sherlollian received by writing a fic. A fic that sophie haters got offended by, and quite huffily commented (anonymously) about. Apparently I crossed some sort of line by turning sophie hate into a sherlolly story (cause apparently no one’s ever done THAT before, insert eyeroll here). Then a sophie hater took the story I wrote and turned it into a sophie hating post by putting in all sorts of gorgeous pictures of ben and sophie, along with some snarky inserts. The upshot? I annoyed a bunch of people I have no respect for anyway, and I got a free set of illos for one of my stories. Win-win!

Glad you enjoyed yourself, and I know you’ll love Links of the Chain; broomy is an incredible writer and that’s one incredible story.

1.Why did you choose your URL? At the beginning I wanted to use tumblr as a way to vent and write about some very dark issues I was going through. I needed to be reminded that this was a safe place for me to word vomit. There you go. Not much of a story.

2. What is your middle name? Ryan! And I absolutely love it. I find it very poetic, in a way. My mom did an awesome job and that is the only name I will write under.

3. If you could own a fairytale / fictional pet, what would it be?

Oh man. Appa, I think.

4. Favorite color? It used to be dark blue. Here lately it’s been purple.

5. Favorite song? The four song medly from Laura Marling’s Once I Was An Eagle.

6. What are your top 3 fandoms? Uhh, Andrea Gibson Broadchurch WriteBloody Publishing, if that’s a thing.

7. What do you enjoy about Tumblr? The creative mix of people I follow, from their personal lives to their interests. Also it has a decent poetry fan club.

"Keep knocking back the whiskey sours"

I have to be at work soon. Gerrimy is at his movie shoot. The cat knocked her water all over the kitchen. Trying to pin point if I'm allergic to wheat or gluten. While there are several gluten free options out there, it just sucks A bit. A tad. It's not really a big deal.

We went clothes shopping on a whim last night at Target. We desperately needed new clothes. I have been living out of sweatpants since none of mine fit. I managed to find two pairs and a nice sweater to wear to my meeting on Tuesday.

Speaking of the meeting, my group leader sent out a text to every member, past and present saying I was coming back in town. I think I'm supposed to have a speech prepared or something. I don't have anything. I have a small snippet of lines that go "This is what recovery looks like" and being realistic. Some days I feel like a fake.

I went to my parents last night. Mom and I didn't get into an argument. I tried on the wedding dress, and it does not fit. At all. I can't even hook the eye because my chest has grown. I am too tired to fight the voices in my head. Instead I just shrugged and said, "Mary can take it out, no big deal." Since we don't know exactly when we are getting married I have all the time in the world to figure out how to safely exercise and lose weight. My health and recovery is more important than my wedding dress.

Waiting on two more job applications. Picked up a box of crayons the other night and have been doing a style similar to Starry Night on pieces of cardboard from boxes at work.

Lastly to Ian and Jayne, I promise I will write you back soon.

I'd like to say how touched I've been and how much I've appreciated the sweet messages, kind words and support that I've received in response to a post I made about an incident that upset me.

The people I've come to know on tumblr - those that I follow and those that follow me - are marvelous, lovely, creative & talented people and I am privileged and blessed to enjoy what they share here. Sharing my magpie gatherings of bits & pieces with others on my blog - all the cute & funny & interesting & beautiful things that catch my eye, touch my emotions, engage my mind and stir my curiosity & interest in the world beyond myself -  is a source of great happiness and satisfaction for me.  However, the best thing of all for me - now & always - are the people I may never get to meet in person, but have come to consider my friends, distance and (usually) age differences, notwithstanding.

My sincerest Thank You to suallenparker , thehinkypanda , marquesadesantos , jaynedarcy and scootaway for the balm you supplied that soothed that painful sting, brightened my day and made me smile!

Pit bulls seem like very active dogs. I can't play, or even walk with my dogs. Are they at all suitable for disabled owners?

There’s actually a lot that work as service dogs, so I’m sure they’re suitable for people who are disabled.  Some can be hyper just like any other dog, but training should help calm them.

On Pit Bulls & Parolees, I remember 2 people who were disabled that had adopted pit bulls from them. :)

Does anyone want to add on to this?EDIT: If you can't walk or play with your dogs, it really helps to have a fenced in yard.  But if you don't have a fence, then I remember Tia saying on an episode that you could get on of those super long leashes, but only use it while someone is outside with the dog.
