Announcing JayTim Week 2026!

Wow, it seems like only yesterday that a couple of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed fans announced the first JayTim Week. While those founding mods have since moved on, the ship week itself is still chugging along just as strong as ever—a whole decade later!

We had a lot of grand ideas while brainstorming for this year's JayTim week. There have been a lot of events (sometimes more than one in a year!), in a lot of different ways (longtime fans will remember the epic JayTim BINGO Month of 2019), and over the years we've had a heckuva lot of prompts. Why not pull on all that history to make something unique and special?

This year, JayTim "Week" will span 10 whole days, from June 19th through June 28th, 2026—one day for each year. To pick prompts for each day, our dedicated mods compiled the past prompts (all 301 of them), weeded out the repeats, and randomly divided them between the 10 days. Then, to mix things up a bit more, we made a picker wheel for each day.

To decide on your prompt(s) each day, simply spin the wheel and let fate decide. Since we don't have a free day this year, each wheel also includes a Free Day!, bringing the total number of possible options for each day up to a whopping 25 prompts (wow)!

Summary

“Damn, Birdy, you live like this?”

Tim let out a quite sob before pausing in confusion and turning. “Jay?”

The man in question gave a sympathetic smile. “Hey, Birdy.”

“What are you doing here?”

Jason shrugged and looked away from him. Put his hands in his pockets and said, “You weren’t answering my texts?”

Tim furrowed his brow before pulling out his phone, pressing the power button and, “Oh, shit. My phone’s dead.”

Jason huffed something that was almost a laugh. “Figured. You’re usually pretty quick to respond.”

Tim nodded and wiped his eyes, “So, uh, what did you text me about?”

Jason frowned, looking a lot like he wanted to ask Tim why he was crying and was, for whatever reason, resisting the urge. “You got benched?”

Tim gets banned from patrol and has to cancel plans with Jason to blow up a narcotics shipment. Jason does the only reasonable thing and breaks into Tim's house to ask him questions about it.

But I didn't have the courage to do them in full coff At first my idea for Red was a crossover about Red Lights of Bang Chan and Hyunjin (Stray Kids), I did the sketch and then I cried. So I did another thing, but I kept the chains in homage to what I really wanted to do

Little sneak peek for the next chapter of my TimJay fic

Tim exhaled against his chest, slowly curling a leg a little tighter around one of Jason’s. “Move in. You’re here all the time anyway. And the kids in Crime Alley think you already live in a rooftop cave, so this would be a step up.”

Jason was warm beneath him, but now Tim could feel the heat spreading in a new way—up his chest, neck, into the soft skin behind his ears. He didn’t look yet—Tim didn’t need to. He knew Jason was going pink, high and slow, like color climbing a thermometer.

“You’re high,” Jason muttered, burying his face in the pillow for a second. “You’re literally still recovering from the plague.”

Tim smiled into his collarbone, lazy and smug. “I’m not high. I’m just… not filtering. Which is your fault, by the way. You were very sweet to me while I was dying. And also you made soup. That’s basically cohabitation foreplay.”

Jason made a noise. It was half a groan, half a strangled laugh.

“I’ve been keeping your stuff here anyway,” Tim added, more thoughtfully now, eyes half-closed. “Some of it. Not a lot, just, like. Enough.”

Jason tilted his head slightly, cautiously. “Enough?”

“Yeah. Like, your grey Henley? The really soft one? That’s in my closet. And your extra holster rig—you know, the one you only use when your shoulder’s stiff—that’s in the hall cabinet. Also I have… like… five pairs of your underwear in the second drawer.”

Jason slowly sat up on one elbow, blinking at him. “Five?”

Tim grinned, slow and absolutely unrepentant. “You left them. Technically. After those patrols last month. And I did laundry. I couldn’t give them back dirty.”

Jason blinked at him again, then dragged a hand down his face. “You washed my briefs and hoarded them?”

Tim licked his lips. “Also I bought a toothbrush for you. It’s the black one in the cup. And I set a new passcode on the Nest door with your biometrics. And I reorganized the kitchen so your cereal’s in the top-left cabinet so you stop swearing about it every morning.”
