On today's episode of random thoughts, Huntrix and the Samurai Rangers are more similar than you'd think at first glance.

– Fighting monsters from a netherworld to prevent them from getting something to strengthen their boss and let him into the world or tear through a barrier (Misery for Nighlok, Souls for Demons).

– Leaders have a massive secret (Rumi's Patterns, Jayden's sister and the sealing symbol).

– They are born with the power, training came after.

– Leaders have a not entirely straight relationship with at least one of their best friends.

Which leads to the only logical conclusion. Give the girls Zords.

Sorry not sorry to be Jayden/Antonio posting in the year of our lord 2026, but I have never met a clearer prince/knight pairing than them. Undying loyalty pledged only to one person, their guiding star, who would follow them into anything. Literally trained to become an armored warrior if it meant getting to defend his prince on the battlefield and off. Jayden literally rides a horse.

I think the reason Jaytonio is such a moving friend(ship) to me is because the acting in Samurai is kinda buns but when Jayden sees Antonio he actually lights up like a Christmas tree and you can also see how his face softens

Jaytonio is crazy because it's like what if we were soulmates but what if it was so much deeper than that. What if I knew there were secrets you kept from me but we both agree not to talk about them because I have that much trust in you. What if your family hated me and your team didn't like me but you staked all your honor on letting me fight by your side. What if the gifts we gave each other as children defined the courses of our entire lives. What if I forgave you for lying to me and hurting me because I know your soul and I know how good it is. What if every day I woke up to be better for you and you woke up to be better for me. And what if we never addressed this because you hate talking about how you feel and I respect that because I love you.

Jayden/Antonio + Mia/Lauren hanging out, family dinner night or whatever. The Shibas hanging back and relaxing, watching their partners make dinner. (Neither Shiba can cook, they've been taken care of by their household retainers for so long that they're absolutely hopeless.)

Lauren comments that it's so lovely they both found partners who are so caring, who don't mind doing all the cooking, and it's lucky they're both such good cooks too.

And Jayden is desperately fighting the face crack of the century because girl your girlfriend has given me food poisoning three times, please be so for real

(Jayden forgetting Antonio knows him better than the others, meaning he canf hide things as well from him, and it leads to Jayden breaking down and Antonio being there to hold his best friend)
