#jazz band problems

just remembering back to a few months ago when the jazz band packed themselves up in all their suits and all their fancy equipment and were three miles away when they realized they had forgotten the bass guitar in the bandroom and had to drive all the way back for it

so we had jazz band during band today because we couldn't have it yesterday after school

our bd gave us its only a paper moon and then goes "melinda is singing this piece" and im like wait what, and we played and she sang along with me so i could get pitches because i hadn't heard the song before

so now im singing its only a paper moon in jazz band, and we'll be performing it at music and meatballs next month which means i'll be singing that and i miss the mountains

So I auditioned for bass keyboard but got assigned piano. THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF A GOOD SWITCH.
