Hey so am I really the only one who feels like that Star Seeker lore video was nonsense
"Some people look up at the stars, Starseeker listens to them" but the story is that he's looking for his mother Selios, who…isn't a star?? Unless they literally mean the stars in the sky themselves are going "hey lil mama lemme whisper in your ear" to him in which case implying they have sentience raises far more questions than answers. But if they mean it in the sense that Selios/Floworld is past the stars, why didn't they say "Starseeker listens beyond them"?
"Born from the skies" From. Not "in". Not even "born from above". Born FROM the skies makes it sound like the skies just kind of spawned him, but he has a mother, so...
"Their nature keeps them apart" what does this m e a n . What even IS their "nature"?? Why would it separate them?? For a moment I wondered if maybe it could have something to do with his dad, but then I realized if her son being associated with his dad was what was keeping him from her, wouldn't the dad also have never been able to be around Selios in order for Star Seeker to be born? But if it's not that, what is it?? I also wondered if maybe Selios spawned him herself via magic but in that case couldn't she have just...made a son she didn't have to dump in Eternyx? Also they do kinda imply the other goddesses in Woman are daughters of Selios the way the alt is called the All-Mother version, so why can she interact with them but not him??
"The only place that connects them: the stars" oookay, WHY do the stars connect them? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be the night sky since Selios is half moon themed and nighttime is when you see stars
"Hoping one day they will reveal the path that leads back to her" so does he not know she's in Floworld somehow or just not know how to get there? The latter would make sense, if not for the fact that they've said the ending of Can't Stop The Feeling is in Floworld so why is it Night Swan would know the path to get there (I did double check and confirm In Your Eyes/Murder On The Dancefloor are in Space, not Floworld, so blaming The Traveler here doesn't work) but not the son of Selios??
"Until then, he keeps looking up and counting the stars" I know this was just meant to be a Counting Stars pun but this genuinely means nothing. Why would he be COUNTING them.
And if his goal is to search for his mother, why is his name STAR Seeker? Again, Selios isn't a star, she's sun and moon themed...would "Moon Seeker" really have been that hard

I’ll admit I’ve gotten my hopes up time and time again with new JD content and have been horribly disappointed that it doesn’t have anything to do with main lore so I’ll try not to get too excited, but I find it hard not to do that. When I get really excited about certain things, I find it hard to forget and I will hyper fixate on it. That’s just the way I am
There’s no telling if this will at all be story related but it still made me happy inside
