here’s what i said!:
I’ve actually been trying to write a Jeanolo fanfic with a major hint of Jean-is-Eruri-Son, but since the Jeanolo tag doesn’t exist yet, I wanted to add this filler to at least get it running for other people. (PLEASE EAT THIS UP FIRST, JEANOLO SHIPPERS WILL COOK AND START A REVOLUTION SOON I SWEAR)
Here is the summary for that fic! (Please feel free to skip, I just wanted to share so as to add some lore to the ship. Bear with me, it’s all I thought about this summer, I just couldn’t write it.:
Where Eruri’s son, Jean, is left with the after effects of having the title of commander swept from under his feet. Iit’s only natural for Jean as an Eruri son to be expected as a commander. I’m certain Eruri would’ve trained him since childhood till the event would come to play in full tow.
Since it’s what he grew up on and all he knew, he was stuck in a position it was all radio static, not knowing where to go from there since Armin had the job.
With an attempt to reconcile his guilt for a lot of things but especially for Sasha, he bonds with Niccolo over that guilt in turn falling deeper in love with Niccolo who had been similarly pining for him. (IT WILL CONNECT WHEN I START WRITING IT I SWEAR)
I’ll probably make a separate post about other plot points in the anime that could be used in a fanfic! I’ll start writing when school allows me to, but I’ll impart the shit I’ve been thinking about through little posts on tumblr!
