when they discover the location of luke, cassian wants to go and see his husband. even with rey disagreeing he stills goes since he misses him and he knows that through the force luke knows han is dead and the least he can do is try to comfort him since both were pretty close friends to the dead man.

he slowly follows behind rey up to the top, as by now cassian is an old man and he doesn’t want to fall.

luke doesn’t know how to even speak to the other, but its quite obvious he’s upset and happy. that night, the two were happily together in the small bed but the two needed each other, especially in the future.

luke would get along so well with k2so and cassian would act exasperated like "he's my boyfriend, k2" "well, there's a 20% chance luke prefers my company" and luke is just watching them bicker so amused but loving the attention

nobody asked me to ship jedicaptain but here we are anyways this is shortly before they go to jabba in rotj imagine luke waking up during the middle of the night after having a nightmare, he glances over at the other side of the bed seeing cassian not in his usual spot when he sleeps. so he gets up and walks out of the room to see the other male at the table, sipping something. luke slowly walks to the other side of the table, sitting in the other chair staring at his lover. he knew something was up and they both sat in silence until cassian broke the tense air. "i know you guys are going to get han tomorrow and i just want you to be safe." luke let out a soft sigh before looking the other in the eyes. "look nothing bad will happen, jabba won't even keep us apart. i'll come back for you, and i always will." despite the two being together for quite some time, cassian felt like he was falling in love with the jedi all over again.

Okay but what I really want

Is someone to write a fic where Cassian gets off Scarif and ends up on Leia's ship. They still get captured by Vader, but she sends Cassian down to Tatooine with the droids. He's injured, dragging himself through the desert, two bickering droids by his side, and a young farmboy on a speeder stumbles across them...
