im always thinking about the party cuddling with will 🥰 and they're basically always in the same position in my head

with lucas, I looooooove imagining him laying on top of will… will laying flat on his back and lucas sprawled out on top of him and between his thighs, will's arms wrapped around his neck. idk if you've watched heated rivalry but the scene of them cuddling in the cottage after saying i love you??? that but byclair!!! gives me demons… they chat the whole time and if lucas makes a joke will doesn't like then will bites(will is a biter in my mind. but like affectionately. but this is maybe projection)

byler are always either face to face or spooning and idk why but. in my mind mike is always just full body wrapping around will. their legs slot together and they're always trying to figure out how to get closer. if they're facing each other, mike likes to press their foreheads together and yap like there's no tomorrow. its an old habit from their childhood that will adoreessssssss

with dustin i imagine them both laying on their stomachs, dustin throwing an arm over his shoulders, heads tilted together… idk if im describing this well ☹️BUT point is they're tucked close and cozy!!! and also whoever wakes up first can just take a moment to admire the other 🥰 dustin always ends up with a leg hooked over wills hip and their arms are numb but its soooooooo nice! i feel like they cuddled like this once as kids and it just stuck

madwise are couch cuddlers! during sleepovers or movie nights they always end up sprawled across the couch together, one of them flat/reclining on their back and the other tucked between their body and the couch! one of my favorite ways to cuddle with my friends its so lovely

the entire time i've been writing this i've been debating including el in this because (unpopular opinion) i just don't see willel as being huge cuddlers when it comes to one another 😭i can see them having a moment when they first move to lenora where they both fall alseep on the couch together while watching a movie. and they're slumped together(like that s4 bts photo of noah and millie sitting on the counter) and sleepy and its nice but they're not super close but they are CLOSER after

Lucas and Max start running together in the mornings. Even once Max completes PT, she feels weak. Her body still doesn’t feel like her own. One morning, she kind of impulsively takes off. Lucas follows her on foot, catches up to her, and reminds her that she doesn’t have to go through anything alone ever again. He says he’s gonna start running in the mornings, and if Max wants to come, he wants her there. She agrees. If she notices he’s going a little easy, she doesn’t say anything. She’s glad to have him there.

DUDE….I’m gonna FUCKING CRY this is so beautiful I love them so much :’) I know Lucas would be by her side every step of the way, literally and figuratively, while she goes through physical therapy and learns to get used to her body again.

Thinking about them going for a run when the sun has barely risen and the gentle distant chirps of birds are just starting to be heard. It’s quiet and feels like the whole world is still asleep save for the two of them who are here by each other’s sides. It’s cold enough to see your breath but the sun shines a pale warm light, the kind where you can feel the heat of the rays on your skin. Max runs against the wind, feeling the cold air biting into the skin on her face and it makes her feel so alive. They both have their Walkmans and swap them on their second lap. Lucas turns to look at Max with his eyebrow raised and a look of playful disapproval on his face as the track in her Walkman plays through his headphones. She throws her head laughs. When they get home they take a shower and make coffee. Sometimes they’ll go back to bed until the early afternoon. They lie there kissing and reading until they fall asleep. Sometimes when Max’s eyes feel tired Lucas will read aloud to her like he did all those months she was in the hospital.

Their compatability + childhood friendship. Mike's need to be needed and his saviour complex paired with Will's need for Mike and his consistent victimhood, their overlapping interests in storytelling, video games etc etc. Also always thinking abt those s1 character descriptions that listed Will's dream job as a comic artist and Mike's as a comic writer <3

More of an interpretation than a headcanon but I think that Mike has been in love with Will since much before s1 and that's part of why he's so oblivious, he's just used to that feeling being like a 'Will Feeling.' I also headcanoned for a while that Mike was a witness to at least one moment of Lonnie's abuse in their childhood and it's part of why he's so protective.

Do you have more Will OCD headcanons?

mm i don't have many, but another one i can think of for him is like at times he'll randomly make up this thing in his mind when doing some little task, or anything, and just take that as determining how some Big Life Event for him turns out.

for a better explanation, one instance could be like say he doesn't have to be in a rush for anything and he's just taking some time out of his day to clean. but then randomly in his mind, he'll be picking up paintbrushes off the ground and will be like "Okay, if I don't finish getting the rest of this up on the dot at 11am (it's like 10:59 and he has no other obligations), then I'll fuck up my exhibition somehow."

and it's just like this pretty reoccurring, passive thing for him that he'll do and won't really think too much on it afterwards, because logically he knows it's nonsensical, but he ends up finding out why when his therapist gets them to have a conversation about it.

Luke Skywalker!

favorite thing about them: I love that Luke is a character who really does his damndest to learn and grow. He makes mistakes and has flaws, but he's consistent in that he keeps on trying, even when he messes up.

least favorite thing about them: I don't really enjoy Luke in the sequel trilogy/Mando series. Like even Mark Hamill whom I adore couldn't really save old man Luke in the sequel films for me. 😩

random headcanon: Closest I have to a headcanon to share is that I like to think offscreen post destruction of the first Death Star, Luke had like a bit of a breakdown. Like that was a massive thing he did and I think there was some kind of very visceral reaction to the fact he took the kill shot.

unpopular opinion: I think just the fact that I really love Luke is an unpopular opinion on its own. So many people hate him and I just don't understand why lol.
