My very first terrarium for a baby cuban knight anole! I never thought I’d have a pet lizard but this little guy snuck into my work in a shipment of plants from Florida. I did as much research as I could but these guys aren’t popular pets, so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know! This is a medium sized exoterra with a mix of live and fake plants. I put some springtails and isopods in so theoretically its bioactive though I haven’t seen them since I put them in... also the terracotta pot in the corner is a little fountain i made myself :)
I don’t know a ton about them either because, like you said, they aren’t popular pets. My only suggestion would be to add a little more cover, especially since your little one was wild and more cover can help make a shy animal feel more secure. And switching out those pet store dials for digital thermohygrometers will be helpful, too, since they’re more accurate. But honestly, I think this looks pretty great so far, and that fountain is so cute!
I believe @scalestails has/had cuban knight anoles, so they might be a good person to ask for more specific advice. Or if any of my followers have experience/knowledge, I’m sure comments would be welcome :)
