Steve takes up two parking spaces
A lovely face
Joe, the golden boy!
There’s a window four feet to his left, but Steve would rather stare out the frosted glass door.
Reblog this with your dog’s best #tongueouttuesday picture!!
She’s definitely making fun of me right now
Rori’s favorite pillow is her big brother!
Steelix, Gengar, and Mika showing off my photo-editing process!
A lot of my pictures start off very de-saturated in color, and need a bit of a boost. I bump up the contrast a bit whenever possible, and usually add a color adjustment, as well.
Hi! I love how all your pictures turn out and was wondering what camera/editing program you use? I'm starting to look at cameras for later on when I have actual money and learning about programs now so I can actually use them later lol. The colors come out so nicely in your pictures!
Thank you! I use a Canon Rebel T3i for all of my pictures. The lens I use the most for pet portraits is the 50mm f1.8, which gives photos a nice, blurred background! I also use the 18-55mm kit lens, depending on the situation. This is the only camera I’ve ever used, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I like it. It’s simple enough to use, and has advanced options for those who need them. My favorite feature is the articulated screen, which is perfect for when you need to hold the camera in an odd position, but still need to see what you’re photographing!
As far as editing, I use Photoshop CS5. I focus mostly on lighting and color correction, but the amount of editing needed differs greatly for each picture. Luckily, PS is great for big fixes, too! A lot of my pictures have been saved by editing, anything from changing the lighting, to seamlessly removing an object from the photo. I’ve also heard nice things about Adobe Lightroom for photo-editing, though I haven’t used it myself. If you’re looking for a software you can use right away, GIMP is a nice free alternative to Photoshop. It has many of the same features, without the cost.

Your dogs are so beautiful I love them!! How do you have so many dogs? Do you live on a farm or something?
Thank you so much! I love them, too!
We don’t live on a farm, but there are a lot of them around here. We live out in the country and have a large yard for the dogs to play. We’re a family of 5, so there’s always someone around to keep track of the dogs and make sure they’re being taken care of.
Having a lot of dogs is not for everybody. It can be a lot of work! We’ve had to make a lot of lifestyle changes to adjust for each dog, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything!
Hello wow I love your dogs and I'm excited to follow you especially cause of Mika!! She is so pretty please tell me how to get an exact copy of her thank you
Thank you! Mika will definitely be one of the main stars of this blog. She’s with me nearly 24/7 and loves having her picture taken!
I wish I knew how to get a copy of her, too! She’s such a sweet, hyper pup, and definitely one of the more unique-looking mutts I’ve seen. I’m really lucky to have her in my life <3
A curious gremlin
Sneeze NO, cats are friends not food !!
This is Ruger! I’m very proud of him for losing so much weight recently.
