BUTTHOLE SURFERS Reunite For First Time in 8 Years!
The band put on a surprise performance following a screening of their new documentary “The Hole Truth and Nothing Butt” on Tuesday night (Sept. 23rd) at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
Gibby Haynes and co. turned what was supposed to be a Q&A into a concert, surprising attendees with a three-song set that consisted of “Cherub,” “The Colored FBI Guy,” and “The Shah Sleeps in Lee Harvey’s Grave.”
This marks only the third time Butthole Surfers have performed together in nearly 15 years following the end of their 2011 tour. The last two times took place in October 2017 and December 2016.
Haynes was joined by Paul Leary, King Coffey, and Jeff Pinkus for the performance.
