Mini-Deck Tutorial by Jellybeanery
A long time ago, @jellybeanery shared a tutorial for a house with a "mini deckâ" Somehow, I still have a PDF file with this tutorial. I couldnât find a post about it here or anywhere else, so I thought Iâd share it with you. All rights belong to Jelly. I just copied and pasted the images and text. Also, you can't expand the layout once you've used the Grid Adjuster, so think about what you want the house to look like beforehand. I'm going to show you how to make a mini deck :) I think they are super cute, and I use them often.
I never see anyone showing pictures of this, so that's where I come in. What you will need: Grid Adjuster
For this tutorial, I am only using a 4x4 lot, but it's the same with any size. So just build your house like normal (where you want the rooms and such).
Those tiny squares are where the deck is going to be, the rest will just be the foundation.
Slap some floor on the top, then save & quit.
Open up the Grid Adjuster and use these settings. Click finish, exit, and then open up your game.
And there it is! I built a tiny empty house on this:
