I have a medicine checkup tomorrow and im not sure if I should see an academic advisor or not because i cannot take classes with bad teachers but also talking to people one on one is terrifying and my mom doesn't get how its not weird to have someone come for emotional support
Hi!! You should definitely go talk to an academic advisor! You should do all you can to enjoy your classes and make sure you’re in an environment you’re comfortable in.
As for having someone with you, it’s totally not weird (but yeah my mom thinks the same way hahaha)! I always drag a friend with me cuz I’m hopelessly shy and useless on my own :p
@jemthecrystalgem yep! and there’s a left border piece missing too. the puzzle is supposed to be 2000 pieces, but when the whole thing was finally put together, there were two missing. the puzzle was transported quite a bit while cipherhunters were in the process of putting it together, so only two pieces missing is pretty good!
I don't usually go on su critical blogs but it's late and I should be asleep and God so much of this blog has made me realize just how much the show has changed for the worse. I thought it was just me.
oh don’t worry, it’s DEFINITELY not just you. ngl, it feels rather nice to know a good amount of people are just as tired and disappointed with su as much as i am lol.
thanks for checking out our blog! <3

About the girl who said she's too smart for accommodations, based on my life, it sounds less like she's a douche and more like she's been stuck with horribly ableist authority figures who refuse to give her accommodations because "you don't need them because you're so smart."
This is sort of what I was getting at in that she’s probably been conditioned to think that being disabled means you’re not smart. The authority figures in our lives can have a very powerful effect on how we see the world, and the realm of disability is one where our society still has a lot of misconceptions and biases. The best way of overcoming these misconceptions and biases is through educating ourselves and these figures, but even then, there has to be a willingness to open one’s mind to new ideas and ways of thinking.
Another way of helping one understand that disability doesn’t necessarily mean a lack of intelligence might be to find well-known people who have the same disabilities and need help dealing with them, but are still admired for their accomplishments. I don’t have the time to look up famous people with dyslexia or dyscalculia at the moment, but there are bound to be some who might resonate with this girl.

The Coraline mice did have a different sort of animation to the rest of the film. It's like it was *meant* to look fake or unreal. Which thinking about it is brilliant from a movie making point of view. But yeah they were animated weirdly, even if on purpose, I remember cause I loved that part.
.
Young Space Dread is my new inspiration as someone who loves to play assassins in games and is trans with that exact aesthetic.
Nice! Don’t actually kill people tho.
I don't even know what to request specifically but anything with the Amethyst Family I would love. (Including Carnelian and Skinny and any other non-Amethyst ones)
Coming right up! :D
