Playing last night was STRESSFUL. I was too eager to get to the town from the campsite and the weather was NOT great so I resigned myself to staying in the hut not I needed sticks so I went out to gather them but I couldn't see shit in the storm and got turned around and thought I was doomed. Thankfully I wasn't, but I didn't learn my lesson. I forged ahead once the blizzard let up but it was fucking COLD and I went to harvest my deer kill and my temp dropped like CRAZY so I pressed on and found the gas station but once again I'D LEFT MY PRY BAR BEHIND IN MUSKEG GODDAMMIT. I tried to warm up in the car but that didn't work so I desperately sprinted toward the town and ran into the first house on the left (hello Milton!)

I've started exploring the town but accidentally nibbled on my raw meat instead of clicking the correct button to drop it; I cancelled it but not fast enough so I got parasites, of course, and had to take a break to REST.

The silver lining is that, for the first time, I woke up in the middle of the night and the lights were working???? And it was BEAUTIFUL outside with the Aurora, I snapped a ton of pics on my Switch and may end up posting them if I can figure out how to transfer the files
