Jentry Week 2025:

Day 7

Karaoke / Beach Episode

For your consideration: over winter break, the gang decide to spend a day hanging out on a tropical island (thank you, portal powers). Kit lies and says he can't swim to cover for the real reason he doesn't want to get in the water– humans have occasionally tried to drown him in the past. Michael keeps insisting on trying to teach him and Kit doesn't want to outright say no so they wind up in an escalating arms race of excuses. Stella and Jentry, meanwhile, are going to wind up fighting whatever that tentacle belongs to and Stella is going to insist on pausing between punches to reapply sunscreen because Skin Cancer Is A Real Problem.

(He would wind up becoming king of the seagulls and bringing an army to Stella and Jentry's rescue)

Jentry Week 2025:

Day 6

Crossover / Roleswap

Went a little outside my comfort zone for this one, but for the roleswap I wanted to do– Michael and Kit– their designs wouldn't really be any different, so I decided to do some screenshot edits instead! I hope y'all like em; I'll put the ones I edited under the cut with no text.

I left their backstories mostly the same for this AU, but Michael's breakup with Stella happens sooner when his powers come in early and he starts questioning his identity. Cheng, knowing Michael is close with Gugu and was Jentry's childhood friend, promises him that if he can find the method Gugu used to put the Yellow Emperor's powers into Jentry he can use them to take Michael's away. Michael, thinking his powers are the only thing that's keeping him from being the Guy Everyone Expects Him To Be, makes the deal.

Also Kit moved to town a year ago and he and Stella are besties. I just couldn't bear to leave him out.

Day 4

Alternate Universe / Diyu

Slowly getting back in the swing of making comics again, even just ones with super simple backgrounds. I forgot how much work goes into them, haha. At this rate I'm never getting back into work on Predatory Loan. . .

Anyway, here's an AU I've been mentally kicking around where, once Gugu sticks the Yellow Emperor's powers into Jentry, Moonie and Peng get the hell out of dodge with their newly superpowered baby and Jentry gets to be raised by two career criminals. Maybe I'll flesh this one out more once I'm done with my current project. . .

if you'll notice i didn't use peng's canon hands for this one, since his hands in the show are just regular hands with nothing much distinguishable, instead i took the hand design from this ⬇️ concept art by jannan wang (link here)

this ended up being more percentage of me struggling to draw fire than the ghosts theme huh 😭😭

Kicking things off with three fashionable Kits! I really love Harajuku street fashion and I pulled from some of those looks for this; I don't draw a lot of intricate outfits so this was fun. Transparent Kits under the cut
