Jeremiah is a fae-child, stolen at birth and swapped with a changeling. Raised in the faerie realm, he has just come of age to earn his chance at returning home to his family and displacing his changeling.

Jeremiah is a changeling, left behind in a crib to replace his human counterpart. He doesnt really know what's wrong with him, but he knows he can't be human: the stress of his abusive household has brought out his worst.

When Mai returns and meets Jer for the first time, nothing's quite what either of them expected.

Upon Jeremiah's return, he's shocked to find that his changeling is aware that its not human. This isnt how it was supposed to go!

Jer is horrified, too: if this newcomer is who he says he is, what will happen to him in this wreck of a family? Jer can barely keep his sisters safe...

Jer usually looks human, but his changeling traits will slowly work their way into his appearance when he's under stress - and also, on occasion, when he's relaxed. It's more comfortable not to hide it all.
