@justafangirl18 We are sorry that we accidentally deleted your ask. But here you go: We compiled all the replies of the mods and member so it went beyond the ‘one sentence’.
“I would say Jellal since Nirvana, is kind and trying to make up for his mistakes. He Cares a lot about the people he loves and he's not afraid to fight for them. As for Erik/Cobra it's a little tricky. He is loyal to the people he grew up with, and now to CS too. Just like Jellal I think he's really trying to fix his mistakes, but he doesn't really show it and uses sarcasm as defense mechanism XD”

“I don’t know really but I think Erik despite being tricky and like to tease his partner and all I think he is most possibly to swallows his feelings and maybe his greatest insecurity is not being enough for his partner/friend....maybe”
-Member Jonah ( @j0nah98) “Advance apologies for turning this into a long essay but I couldn’t help it. I relate to you so much because 99% of the time, I cannot write them and yet I still love this rare pair.
Jellal bears a lot of weight. He has self esteem issues, is heavy with guilt, and has a hard time grasping whether he deserves good things too. If we go by Pre-ToH, we can see that he has always been kind, loyal and possess a leadership quality. He is calm and mature. After the time skip, he is working hard for his repentance and this is something which he will maybe always work on no matter what. Is a kind of person who I think apologises a lot because he is probably too afraid to hurt others? Like, listen… he has gone through a lot of shit and one can only imagine the trauma. (refer to three days of grace discography for his internal thoughts).
It will take him a great amount of time to heal properly but he is trying.
Erik is snarky, sarcastic and confident. Although after the time skip, he has become quieter comparatively. He has committed sins too and is atoning. Oracion Seis has always been driven by a sense of revenge. They have been wronged as kids and that’s why they wanted vengeance from the world. He has always been loyal to his members and trusts them which I think is a big deal because he must be having trust issues due to all the manipulation he has been through. He has a soft side too and whenever he is vulnerable, he is not ashamed.
If you want to know about their relationship dynamic; to me, it will be more physical in the beginning and the emotions come next. Erik is insecure and Jellal thinks he does not deserve affection, so they are a mess all in all. But once they get pass the awkwardness and acknowledge the “thing” they have between them; they can be pretty soft for each other. They both need to know that they are safe. So, they hold each other and care deeply; trying to understand that the feelings are mutual, and it is about the choices that they are making, not the “deserving” question. At the same time, it is necessary to know that you shouldn’t depend entirely on the other when you love someone; which works for both of them because after all they have been through, they don’t want to lose their own sense of self. Also, it is also the fact they know that the other understands what it is like to commit sins and go on with the guilt.
So, they be together, heal each other, and go through all the shit together. Personally, @gaysquaredwrites‘ fic But You Live for It helped me a lot to understand both characters as an individual and in a relationship. I love the fic and it is one of my favourites.” -Mod Sky ( @watcher-ofthe-sky) Thank you for sending the ask!
