If this is about that performance art piece, I see where you're coming from and understand, though I myself have mixed views on the issue. I had this long discussion about it that I was going to prepare, but honestly this issue is really controversial and can have different interpretations. There is a rebuttal to that post added as comments to that post on my blog [here] (comments not made by me) though I realize that they don't necessarily address the entirety of the concerns or the overall implications of the project.
(I don't think it was intended to be misogynistic, but that doesn't mean that it didn't use violence against women to get across another issue, which is wrong regardless of intent. I wish they would have made some form of apology though for the hurt and discomfort they caused. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since they do explain that wasn't their intent and this was a single incident. Humans make mistakes and can't think of everything even when they should.)
I didn't think to look on Etsy, and I will check it out, though my main reason for going to Lush is because we have a physical store I can go to that's only a twenty minute drive away and I would actually like the product fast because my skin has been drying out really bad since Monday because of the weird temperature changes and cold and it's very uncomfortable and I know their bath bombs are supposed to be super moisturizing. (I hate slathering myself in lotions and creams because I don't like the feel of them on my skin.)
Ordering from Etsy or anywhere else online would take at best days to arrive (and I would probably miss the package and have to go pick it up at the post office the next day or whenever I have time, and the post office is a 10 minute drive away). Not to mention that stores with made to order products or popular ones with backlogs of shipments could take considerably longer to ship. (Also shipping often costs a lot even in country. I see shipping costs that cost as much as the product itself.)
(It's also really important to me that they're an LGBTQ+ friendly business, which isn't related to the topic at hand but it is important to me considering you can be fired in most states in the US for being gay.)
