Who or What inspired your first interests in photography and to start posting on Instagram? How old were you when you first took up the interest?
A combination of things peaked my interest in photography. The biggest influence was when I was on a family vacation when I was 15 at Yellowstone National Park. My dad brought his new digital point-and-shoot camera, I played around with it & was soon hooked.

How has becoming such an influential figure on this platform changed your life? Do you ever feel pressured in any way?
It's changed my life for the better; more exposure to my work as well as making powerful connections within the community. Sometimes I feel pressured, but it's healthy pressure.
What makes (your category. eg: landscape, street, portraits, lifestyle, travel/adventure, ect.) photography so special to you?
Portraits. Comparably, I find it more challenging and rewarding to make a great portrait.
What camera do you use and what is your favorite lens to use?
I have a couple different cameras I use, as for the digital cameras: Canon 5D MK III equipped with a 24mm lens LG G5 Sony RX100 MKIIII
What editing tools do you use and how much effort would you say you put into editing?
Lots of effort. I use Lightroom and Photoshop.
What are your favorite conditions to shoot in?
Depends on what I'm shooting, but usually slightly overcast with some sun peaking out here and there
What is your Favorite photo you have ever taken and why?
This photo I took of big bird in Central Park sitting on a bench. Just 30 minutes prior to this moment, I photographed my friend proposing to his girlfriend in the Ice Skating Rink. Ironically, I stumbled across this super lonely Big Bird.
What is on the top of your bucket list?
To go to Antarctica!
What do you think, makes a good photograph?
A good photograph can tell a story.
Where is your favorite location to shoot?
New Zealand.
What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out their Instagram account and wanting to gain exposure?
Post great content Post 1-3 times a day Cross platform Find your community & connect Be different
Lastly, what is your life motto or favorite quote?
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.
