Jack: Babyboy...
Victor: Mmmmmh...
Jack: Just roll under the blanket. You’re too heavy for me to put you there myself.
Victor: Dad?
Jack: Yes, son.
Victor: Can you stay?

Jerome: My tummy hurts.
Shon: Shut up and eat. Mine too...
Jack: Tea?
Victor: Yes, please.
Jack: What on earth just happened?
Victor: We got played by two mites. That happened.
Jack: I must speak with Patrick and Nic. The kids are too little for such conversations.
Victor: Relax, dad. They had no idea what they were actually talking about. They just sensed fear and teamed up against us. And won. Good news, if we still have the company after they get out of college those two are going to skyrocket it in no time.
Jack: “If we still have the company?” What was that supposed to mean?
Victor: Nothing. Just slip of the tongue.
Jack: No it was not. Don’t weasel, boy. Speak your mind like the man your mother had raised you to be!
Victor: Things are not going so well with the construction firm and you know it very well. All the sites have been put on halt for years. It’s high time for you to step up.
Jack: I’m not in a position to do so. I retired a long time ago.
Victor: Dad, you’re 57, not 70! This is ridiculous. This is your company, after all. Your blood, sweat, and tears.
Jack: I can’t just push my firstborn away and sit back behind the wheel. Not after all that I’ve done.
Victor: *sigh* You did nothing wrong, dad. You’ve lost your life partner. It was a hard blow and you fell down. And then got up. End of story. No one is blaming you so stop doing so yourself.
Jack: Patrick does too.
Victor: Patrick doesn’t know what he is talking… and also what he is doing half of the time. When was the last time you go to his office, to your former office? It’s pure chaos!
Jack: When was the last time you went there?

Shon: Do you want to play with us?
Jerome: *whispers* Stop embarrassing us. To “play”?!? And you call me a baby?!?
Jessica: Of course I do! But I don’t have any toys here! And aren’t we supposed to do our homework first?
Shon: Well… the evening is young. We can do both.
Jessica: “The evening is young”?!?Where did you learn to use such phrases?
Nicolette: They are imprinted in his DNA. Are those two bothering you, dear?
Jessica: No, not at all!
Nicolette: OK then. I have some toys in the car. Come on, mites, let’s go get them.
Patrick: Is there something I can play with? Any bottles left in the bar?
Jessica: There should be some. If the idi... person who is responsible for them hadn’t broken them all.
Jessica: This… person here will fix a drink for you, sir.
Patrick: Seriously? I can somehow justify your presence here, sweetie, but a barman in a closed gallery is way too much
Patrick: Mmmmh…
Patrick: Listen, bro. You’re wasting your time here with that pot-heads Victor and Devin. You should come to me and my friend Rome! Do you have where to live? I can always send one of my sons to a boarding school.

Patrick: Why do I have to come to that hideous gallery too? Why don’t you just drop me at Rome’s place and pick me up when you’re done?
Nicolette: You prefer to sit and drink with Romeo, reminiscing one and the same half-true stories from your youth, instead of going and see how your one and only brother is doing?
Patrick: If my one and only brother wanted to see me he would have called me. If he wanted to do anything with me he would have stayed and work for me.
Jack: “With you”, not “for you”.
Patrick: Whatever. Just let me go home with my kids. They must have homework and stuff to do.
Shon/Jerome: It’s Friday! We want to see uncle!
Patrick: Traitors!
Jack: Aren’t you concerned for your baby brother just a tiny bit? You’re unbelievable!
Patrick: I was concerned about him when he was a young boy. Now when he is 27 I prefer to switch my focus to my little ones. That’s what a father does - taking care of his kids when they are small so he can have a drink when they are grownups. Not the opposite, DAD!
Nicolette: Enough! We are all going to see Victor. End of conversation!
Nicolette: I’m still astonished how modern looking this building is, even though it’s built so many years ago.
Jack: Yep! Victor I’s pantheon of transparency built in the heart of the city before the eyes of everyone. Son of a gun!
Patrick: It’s ugly as hell. I hate it with passion. Grandma hated it too.
Jack: Well, it’s not my favorite either but somehow your grandpa managed to pass his affection to it along with his looks generation after generation.

Jerome: Why it always has to be you seating next to uncle? It’s just not fair!
Shon: Because I’m older and not that boring as you are. So shut up!
Jerome: You shut up! Mom!
Patrick: Will you two stop acting as if we are waiting for some rock star to show up!
Patrick: And why are we waiting for him anyway? He is totally late, as always!
Nicolette: Honey, stop grumbling for once. He is not late. You just insisted on sitting earlier on the table so you can…grumble.
Patrick: It’s not true!
Jack: She is right, son. You know the rules in this house. Wives are always right!
Victor: Hello, Tremayne. I’m not late, right?
Tremayne: No, you are not, sir.
Victor: So we spared us Patrick’s nagging?
Tremayne: No, we did not, sir. Let me take your jacket.

Victor: Hello, everyone.
Shon/Jerome: UNCLE!!!
Nicolette: Vic, I’m sure girls have never fought for you with such ferocity like your nephews just did.
Victor: *smirk* That’s why I’ve never loved a girl the way I love these two.
...
...
Jack: OK, boys. Will you tell me what’s going on? I can practically cut the tension between the two of you.
Victor: You should ask your first-born. He seems to have some major issues.
Patrick: Very slick of you, Victor, I must admit. Well, one of my “issues” is that my little brother wants to end up like his BF Polly Maloney – dumpster diving for food and living in the basement of his once penthouse home. But my bigger issue is that he is going to drag all the family down with him.
Victor: What kind of nonsense?!? Aren’t you too old to believe in urban legends?
Patrick: I just don’t think YOU are mature enough so I discuss subjects of matter with you, Junior. You showed no interest in contributing to the family business so now all I’m asking for is you and your buddies to shift to another love shack. Isn’t your bedroom big enough?
Jack: Oh Magnolia, my love, where did we go wrong with those two?
Patrick: Is this a rhetorical question, father, or are you truly seeking for an answer. Because I have one.
Victor: Stop bullying everyone, you arrogant pr…
Nicolette: Enough! Both of you! Your heirs are in the room, for God’s sake! Is this the example of brothers’ bond you want to set in their minds? Patrick, stop being sarcastic and have a decent conversation with your father. Victor, come with me to the kitchen.

@simcatcher said: Now that i think about it, I'm curious to see what adult Shon would look like !
So, as I’ve expected, Shon (the first one) is just red-haired Patrick. Which is fine to me since I like Patrick’s boyish look.
Jerome (second), on the other hand, is Nicolette’s gender bender with all her delicate features and honest eyes.
Ana, Thank you so much for your request. It’s such a fun seeing them both grown up.
