Unrealized project, 1969: The Race to Urga (which Bernstein called A Pray by Blecht), based on Bertolt Brecht's play The Exception and the Rule, was to have starred Zero Mostel and Richard Pryor. The production never made it into rehearsals; Robbins later staged a workshop performance at Lincoln Center in 1987 which also went undeveloped.

Album Number Three Hundred Thirteen. “One of the Boys” is the third studio solo album by #rogerdaltrey. It was released in 1977, on Polydor in the UK, and #mcarecords, in the US. The sessions were recorded at the Who's Ramport Studios during the winter of 1976 (vocals were recorded at #pathemarconistudios in Paris, due to tax complications), and Daltrey allowed students from the local Battersea technical school to film them as an educational project. This also marked the first time that Daltrey had written or co-written a song since "Here For More" (released as the B-side of the Who's "The Seeker") in 1970, and Lisztomania in 1975. Daltrey's original choice for producers were #JerryLeiber and #mikestoller, but they declined. "Hound Dog" was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and originally recorded by Big Mama Thornton in 1952 (and released in 1953). The song was later slightly altered and recorded by Freddie Bell and the Bellboys in 1955. Elvis Presley recorded and released his version of the song in 1956. The Drifters - "The Drifters' Golden Hits" (Atlantic; 1968) on the hi-fi this morning. 12 timeless songs by one of the great all-time r&b groups.
