It does feel like they are speedrunning the stunt. Two sets of papshots on the same day? Either they cannot be bothered, which also makes sense from Louis' actual body language, or they are actually speedrunning it, which makes no sense given the Soccer Aid Timeline. I have a feeling Louis gaslights himself into thinking he needs to do these stunts to be perceived as a serious artist. It is a very pop-star thing to do, but not a punk rock artist thing. I was thinking about something today. I am also a massive Green Day fan, like Louis (or so he claims to be) and I know absolutely nothing about the lead singer's wife. She's not in the public sphere at all. I realized it is the same for all the other punk artists I know. I feel like Louis convinces himself that he has to do these stunts, but when it comes to the actual execution of it, he half asses it.

It does kind of feel like they're speedrunning this stunt, but that might also be because they don't particularly care to make it believable. So we get the met the family, madly in love articles on day two lmao. At the same time they're sort of going for a low profile (secret dinners and papped at a parking space), so i think they're building this to last for a good while. They've invested too much in this to cut it off abruptly.
I don't agree that Louis thinks he has to do these stunts to be seen as a serious artist. I think he always does it for a reason, for a greater good, so that's why i'm so curious as to why he's doing this. Is he playing a closeted gay man on film? Is H coming out so L needs to beard up? Is LT3 called "Love songs about Harry"? Is bg ending (pleasepleaseplease)? This stunt really isn't beneficial to Louis in any concievable way, and if he needed to beard up he could have chosen someone else to stunt with. If he wanted good PR and attention, he would have chosen someone less controversial and fandom accepted, and someone internationally known. So i'm still waiting for the carrot here to reveal itself. He's not dragging himself through this just to end up losing half a million monthly Spotify listeners...
And about Jesal, yes, just him being hired to pap them tells you everything you need to know about how fake this relationship is.
