In 2010, Alexander Rybak performed at both the Eurovision Song Contest and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
At the 2010 Grand Final, he opened the show by singing his winning song 'Fairytale.' At Junior Eurovision, he performed his song 'Europe's Skies' as the interval act. He sang the song in a mix of English and Russian, as he released two versions of the song in said languages. He ended his performance by wishing all of the young contestants luck.
