DC and Realm Announce "DC High Volume: Batman" Podcast Series
DC and Realm have announced a new scripted podcast series that will adapt DC Comics' greatest Batman stories into audio dramas.
DC High Volume: Batman will kick off with a four-part adaptation of Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's Batman: Year One. Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City after a decade of travel. Finding rampant crime and corruption, Bruce becomes the Batman. "If Batman and new allies Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent succeed in removing the criminal heads of Gotham City, who will replace them? A new face of villainy may appear, leading to a Long Halloween full of costumed criminals." (DC)
The cast of DC High Volume: Batman includes Jason Spisak (Batman / Bruce Wayne), Jay Paulson (Lt. James Gordon), Reba Buhr (Catwoman / Seline Kyle), Adam O’Byrne (Harvey Dent / Two-Face), Mike Starr (Carmine Falcone), Simon Vance (Alfred Pennyworth), Dan Gill (The Joker), Jesse Burch (The Riddler), Michelle Lukes (Poison Ivy), and Kevin Smith (The Penguin).
