Tony’s “I almost forgot - that suit did nothing for your ass” is great on sooooo many levels: a) it means that Tony is acknowledging to Steve himself that yes, he did check out Steve’s ass even back then and notice that it was a good one, and b) he proceeded to design a suit that did do something for Steve’s ass, and c) he ALmost forgot, meaning he never really did and he’s still been thinking about Steve’s ass after all that time, in this essay I will

Went to a comic bookstore, Fat Jack's Comic Crypt, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey today and there were these lovely cats in the store. They were so friendly and they each had a little box they could sleep in. They chilled on top of the comic boxes and asked for pets! Why can't more bookstores, comic or otherwise, have cats or other animals to chill with the customers?

(( OOC: I want to say this because it’s been a recurring thought of mine recently - but some of you guys are just amazingly creative.

There’s way too many people in this community for me to follow and actively track but I totally stalk all your blogs when they pop up and I just want to say… I dig it?? Because even though the rp community has kinda exploded over the last number of months with so many new people, there’s still so much originality and creativity and it makes me hella happy.

Not only that, the support and encouragement you all give each other is so cool. I haven’t seen any real negativity in a long time, and it’s so nice to witness such a safe, non-judgemental space.

I have an awful lot of appreciation for this community, and the majority of that is down the the people in it. So keep doing all the things. You’re all great.

I feel like sobbing inside every time I remember that Tony didn’t say he needed the Avengers, he didn’t need the team - he needed Steve, Steve was the only one he wanted at his side, Steve was the one he needed. “I needed you,” Tony said, “you weren’t there.”

mcu Steve and Tony might fight with each other, they might hurt each other time and again, but they NEED each other, they are better together than they are apart and they know it, in this essay I will

whenever steve and tony look at each other in endgame, you can see the exact moment when they go into “heart eyes” mode and that is beautiful

But consider: what if Steve meets Tony BEFORE Iron Man 1?

At first he only sees Tony’s playboy facade

And they can’t stand each other and they have a knock-down drag-out fight throwing insults and punches in the middle of a party because of course they do

But then they meet again under better circumstances and Steve apologizes and he’s so fucking earnest when he asks if they could please be friends

And Tony wants to hate him, but then Steve smiles and holds out his hand and Tony stands there looking at him and something inside him just melts

And then they start hanging out and Tony discovers that he actually likes this guy. Steve may act all sweet and innocent, but he’s got a sharp sense of humor and he’s smart, the kind that sneaks and surprises you when you least expect it

And Steve quickly discovers that Tony’s playboy flamboyance is really just deflection, it’s all just an act to protect himself from getting hurt, to keep people from finding out that he really cares deeply, maybe even too deeply

So Steve starts seeing through Tony’s defenses, and then, so gradually that Tony doesn’t know when it happened, Steve has become the most important person in his life

But Steve is leaving to join the Army, and Tony realizes that he can’t let him leave without telling him how he feels

So he rushes to the airport and they have a dramatic confession on the tarmac, and Tony finally tells Steve how much he loves him and promises to write him, of course he will, if Steve will just come back to him

And then Iron Man 1 happens, and Steve is part of the team that rescues Tony

And he just cups Tony’s face and his eyes are so soft as he sees the arc reactor

And he says “I thought I was supposed to come back to you, not the other way around”

And Tony just laughs and settles against him and says “what do you say we pick up where we left off?”

And they live Happily Ever After

Hey tumblr folk!!

So you may have noticed I’ve been on hiatus from tumblr for the past few weeks. I’ve been keeping busy “safe at home” with a bunch of projects, one of which is working on more fic for my many many rare pair ships!

You can keep up with me on ao3 as I post new works... so far since I’ve been at home I’ve posted four new fics and am nearly done with a fifth. Yay for productivity!
