for foul-hearted: what is your favorite part of writing this wip, and have you scrapped any ideas for it? (from jester!)

I haven’t scrapped anything so far, but going from Swoon (I will post it eventually I swear) to reading thru the second part, it’s seeing the cracks in Nick’s psyche that felt too out place initially.

Foulhearted pt 2 -> Word search + "brittle" (From Jester!)

If I'm honest, I'm not entirely happy with how I used the word, but a week later and I have fulfilled.

"Where's Noah?" Nick asked between a grimace.

Nicholas rolled his eyes. "Who cares?"

"You do."

Nicholas shot him a glare, and Nick hid his teasing smirk behind his cup. He meant for it to be scathing, but whatever issued Noah created seeped through, making him look more like a pouting child than anything. It was cute.

"He's off…" Nicholas tried to keep the hurt out of his voice, but failed, the sound brittle and… well, hurt. "Being Noah."

Making Folio suffer for various reasons. He’s wound up, frustrated sexually and otherwise, and what “relief” he does gets only makes everything worse.
