The only post which I can possibly conceive as being misconstrued as manipulative is the one I made recently about separating myself from people whom I know to be abusive because of my own past experiences.
I made it blatantly clear, twice in fact, in that post that I was not a) trying to force people to ‘choose sides,’ nor b) implying that anyone is inherently better or worse than anyone else.
All I was saying, clearly and concisely, was that I will go to any lengths at this point in my life to avoid any proximity between myself and anyone who I know will negatively impact my life.
Furthermore, here’s some shit: I just lost my job after being on medical leave for over a month due to a life-long struggle with bipolar. It’s the third time I’ve lost a job due to this illness of mine.
I’ve been suicidal again for the umpteenth time in my life. And I’ve not been airing it; I have not let it affect Karma because he is my safe place, my solace, and my personal strength, exemplified.
I will not, by my own volition, allow my illness to make me into a bad person.
I had to leave my job because I was working under someone who reminded me in every facet of her personality and management style of my abuser of some seven years.
I will not, ever, put myself in a position in real life or online to be in any close proximity to anyone who even remotely resembles the person who tried to take my life from me.
That includes cutting out anyone that I need to, but not without careful consideration and candid, adult, constructive conversations.
If that is viewed as manipulative by some sad and hurt person, then I am sorry. Not sorry for the stand I’ve taken to help myself finally make the moves I need to better my own life, but sorry for them and their own pain.
So, there you go. If you’re incapable of finding the unfollow button, hitting it, and leaving without putting extra effort into a callous and immature attack, then you are the one I feel sorry for.

WHAT A YEAR. Wow. 684,938 words published on AO3!!! (I’d say about 50k of that wasn’t actually written this year and is instead from WIP’s that started from previous years, but that still leaves me with a solid 600k words. which. geez.)
Last year was at 400k, and my goal for this year was to stay around that area, not PASS IT BY 200K. I’m not expecting this to happen again, so I hope everyone was happy with this lmao.
