(Matthew 24:42) The closer we come to the return of the Lord, the closer to the Lord we must be. Salvation brought us to Him, but faith keeps us in Him; so the closer we are to Him the stronger our faith must be in Him. Not just so we can reap earthly blessings, but also so we can recognize Him, His voice, His directions, and His people. So many people are unaware that the days of living any old way and claiming to serve God are coming to a close! The Lord has already madeup His mind and said He's coming back for a church without spot or blemish but holy and blameless. (Ephesians 5:27). And just like we know God doesn't lie when He promises to bless us, He's also not lying when the time comes for Him to receive us. But if you have one foot in the church and one foot out, you're not spiritual in tuned to what the Spirit is saying unto the church, which is prepare yourself, because I'm coming at an hour you will lease expect! I won't delay because you're not ready - I gave you time! As you continue to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, the day of your redemption is drawing closer than when you first believed!
