As a character: I like how she’s not the typical princess, nor the typical Pegasus Knight. Usually you have Pegasus Knights that are gentle-hearted, but Hinoka is the exact opposite- a nice way to shake things up. Hinoka thus finds herself not knowing her own limits, whether it’s in training, or going off on missions of her own. Unfortunately she doesn’t have much of a role in the story, since she wasn’t originally meant to be one of the royals (Kagerou was originally) and much of her backstory centers around Corrin, including her motivation to become a Sky Knight. I really would like her a lot more if this weren’t the case. 6/10.
As a unit: Hinoka, like many Pegasus Knights, is a fast unit, with surprisingly good Strength for her class. The Guard Naginata allows her to survive more hits than she normally would to allow her to gain experience. Though she has less availability over Subaki, her growths are far superior and she will quickly grow into a competent unit if you train her. 8/10.
