lmao but no seriously I just. as a fan of the books and the games who loves Ciri and Yennefer's mother-daughter bond, the way Yennefer was just cut out of that role in so many post-s1 fanfics and replaced with Jaskier at best and at worst villainized so that Geralt could find real love in the arms of someone he chose (sighing forever)... it's the ship that ate the fandom and so many people indulged in canon female love interest bashing along the way.
What would have made you like it?
ffffffff it's a long list involving a lack of being the Ship that Ate the Fandom, significantly less misogyny, less fanon characterization of the fandom favorite, and so many of its shippers not just blanket assuming that because they like this ship and their blorbo that everyone else will like that ship and their blorbo (flashback to the time I posted a meme on twitter about my kitten and a bard stan took the meme and turned it into something about the bard and replied to my post with it lololol)
