Lydia was happy to spend some time helping Kole with his dyslexia. Things had been rather upsetting for Lydia since Talia left; that opened up a whole mix of buried emotions that Lydia didn't want to deal with. Not to mention the fact that she had her possible impending death in the back of her mind. So it would be nice to do something helpful for a friend and get a distraction, and she also liked hanging out with Kole. He had become a good friend recently- something that kind of scared Lydia, since she was slowly starting to become that guarded, scared girl again. She had to remind herself not to go back to that fully again, and not let Talia leaving stop her from ever finding other friends. She hoped she could do it. Lydia would sure as hell try. Taking a seat in the booth of the diner that was by the window, Lydia spread her notecards and notebooks on the table in front of her as she waited for Kole to arrive.
