You super do not have to answer this if you don't wanna, but seeing all the OCs after following your blog made me really put a lot into my PC in scarlet. Her name is Blair, she has the space buns always, freckles, and the stern frown face. She tends to be v deadpan, but is a huge shit disturber. Despite seeming like the preppy type she struggles a lot in most subjects except for history, her special interest and needs nemonas help with school. She WILL needle and prod at teachers and Geeta (once she gets more comfortable) to try and get a rise out of them if she thinks she can get away with it. Very preoccupied with the ~aesthetics~ of her team and herself (her colours are light blue, white, and gold), and her ace is a shiny Glimmora. HATES losing at anything, but looooves to use her unreadable deadpan humour to start fights with people (esp penny). Has a big crush on Nemona but Will Not Admit It.

If Gene does end up being a teacher at the school she would absolutely just try to bamboozle him into giving her better grades. Walks up after class very confidently and says "Pardon me, you graded this wrong. This should be an A minus." Would def try to time it for when he's in a rush to minimize likelihood of him actually checking.

FJHSKJDF GO FOR IT BLAIR, honestly at some point the teachers will just be glad that she's one of the students that are participating and trying to do well even when she's struggling 🤔🤔🤔

KJHFSKDJF gene's not qualified to give out grades -- he's going to be there as sort of a specialist who??? helps with training and talks about dex work or something??? maybe a special presentation on hisui??? (he's good at powerpoints after all)

BUT if she gets extra credit or participation points from attending his stuff she could totally try to sneak in afterwards to get a signature confirming she was there DFSJDF

I 100% agree that people take her sympathy too far (but eh that's what fandom does). But in her defense, she also thought the earth was about to crack like an egg. So in her mind she was saving this squishy thing.

Thats also true, but thats not the point im trying to emphasize. Blue Diamond just picked greg up like a stray cat off the streets. In most situations in the human world, when an adult human in a fully conscious and healthy state is in trouble of any kind, you would ASK for their permission to help them. you dont walk into a household of a beaten wife and drag her out of there, as much as you think she might be in danger. It is her choice whether to leave or to stay, despite what social workers might think. The fact that she didnt give him a choice in her decision to take him is what makes this relationship unbalanced and ultimately unhealthy.

Could Blue diamond learn and change?... theoretically, she could. but thats the point i was trying to make with Rose- it took Rose THAT long to get, and she was actually willing to listen to humans. Blue didnt even manage that first part.

I'm not at all in the Danganronpa (sp?) fandom- I apparently followed a while ago I guess? Anyway for the longest time I thought that big buff sapphic and her stocky lil girlfriend were OCs of yours and I loved them. Like I still love them but I suspect they may not be OCs

Haha no, alas I have just fallen for another ship that I thought could use more art. They are Sakura Ogami and Aoi Asahina from the game Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc.

I watched some youtubers play it a while back and just found myself enamored with these two and their close relationship in-game. Due to the nature of the game, and the various anime tropes and trappings, especially of the time, I feel these two deserved better and so I love drawing what that might look like. They both have their own struggles and complicated relationship with femininity, and I find that relatable to my own experiences growing up. I like to interpret it as these two unlearning compulsory heterosexuality as they find themselves falling in love with each other. As a butch lesbian who grew up in the 90s/00s, that’s a journey of self-discovery that resonates with me. And those are all the feelings I try to channel into my art of them~

And now I have an itabag and there’s no turning back haha

But I’m so glad that you’ve been enjoying my art regardless! It makes me happy that my brand of sapphic art has its own appeal across different fandoms and characters.
