👀what do you find to be the hardest part about being an idol and neurodivergent? 👀unity is known for "noise music", has that aspect in particular ever caused problems for you? and on the flipside, what are the aspects about unity's music that make you happiest? 👀if you could've voice any anime character, who would it be? why?
Send me a “👀 + a question” and my muse has to answer honestly!
👀what do you find to be the hardest part about being an idol and neurodivergent?
“Not being allowed to talk about it, I think. There are practical aspects of it that make life difficult but they were things I was aware of and have mostly learned to navigate (like the sudden loud sounds, the crowds and whatnot, it’s difficult but it’s a bit inevitable). Not being allowed to talk about it is so hard because I’m very candid with it in my life. I don’t offer information without being asked, but if I am, I will talk about it no problem. But I’m not allowed to tell the fans, I’m not allowed to let people understand some things. I know there are some rumors around about me having a bad attitude that would at least be explained if I was so much as allowed to be honest. I’m not naive to think people wouldn’t be ableist if they knew, but I think I, personally, would feel better if I didn’t have to treat it like a secret.”
👀unity is known for "noise music", has that aspect in particular ever caused problems for you? and on the flipside, what are the aspects about unity's music that make you happiest?
“Problems in what sense? I’m not the most sensitive to noises the way other autistic people might be but some of our songs do cause me some overload some days, though nothing I cannot deal with. If the question is more in terms of the music, I think it’s fun. Only our titles really fall into this noise music stereotype, I think our b-sides are actually way more R&B leaning than anything. I think most things about our music makes me happy. I’m lucky to be in a group with very talented members who can sing as well as they do, and I think this allows for a pleasant experience to anyone who might listen to our music, so long as they get over the whole noise music thing.”
👀if you could've voice any anime character, who would it be? why?
“Tsukishima Kei. I like his brand of humor.”

what one thing (concepts, genres, styling, frequency of comebacks, etc.) would you like to change about your current career as an idol?
“i really enjoy most of what unity has done these days regarding our concept and styling and stuff. and we’ve been having more and more comebacks lately too, but i guess if i could change one thing, i would change our genre. we can keep the same concept, but i’d like to see us switch up our genre. we do a lot of hip-hop based stuff for our title tracks, so i wish we could do some more pop-based or r&b-based. oh! or we could maybe do something with the rock genre, like lucid.”

14. if you could be on any variety show, which one (or which type of one) would you want to be on?
“I recognize my shortcomings and know I wouldn’t be all that interesting in variety shows. Not good at giving reactions and I don’t think I’m particularly funny, so it couldn’t be something that relied on that. Something about fashion maybe? Or beauty? Something like Get It Beauty maybe.”
20. did you enjoy the lifestyle of a trainee or of a debuted idol more?
“Debuted idol, for sure. There are pressures and things I’m expected to do, places I’m expected to be, and I always have to behave in the best of my ability, but as a trainee I had to do all of that without the luxuries of idolhood. As a trainee, I didn’t have any idea of what was going to happen with my career. While that is true after debut, I think being in a company like BC makes me more comfortable in believing that I don’t have to worry much about failure.”
22. describe your dream sub-unit (members and concept).
“Don’t mention this to them otherwise they are going to actually believe I like them, but Chroma Crystal is my dream sub-unit. People who put in the work to get stuff done and who listen to me, with a concept that allows for really good music to be released. But if I had to pick other people as well I’d say a sub-unit with Kiana sunbaenim and Hyeju sunbaenim would be fun, since they are both aces so we could do almost anything. For concept, I don’t really know. I think we’d be able to do anything.”
24. which of the two other companies (out of bc, dimensions, and gold star) you are not currently signed under would you rather be an artist in?
“Gold Star. I was a trainee under Dimensions and I’d never set foot in that company again. All companies are bad, capitalism is evil, yadda yadda, but Dimensions is particularly rotten. Gold Star has the money because of Origin and Femme Fatale and anything they touch lately turn to gold, so it would be more than guaranteed success. Look at those Vive dudes, they haven’t even debuted and the songs from their show charted higher than groups’ releases.”
