there's a glass display case on his desk. inside it is a figurine of a condor with his final remaining watch on top of it. it's sealed. there's no way to open it without brute force. to add to the whole scenario, there's a small piece of paper inside reading: "finally got a second."

"Welp. There it is."

In the most well presented display imaginable. His watch had been missing for weeks, and the backup was fine and dandy, but this one was a gift.
