Purple Flower Blossom Wedding Cake (looking back on past wedding cakes) I remember delivering this wedding cake to a lovely outdoor venue where it was supposed to be set up and left outside for the wedding. But as many of the weddings that summer, it was also 95+ degrees that day and Buttercream isn't going to last long in that heat. This particular venue didn't have a kitchen let alone great A/C and I had to be creative and find a cooler area to set up the cake and the bride said I could set it up, finish decorating and leave it in the only room with A/C and that was the dressing room for the wedding party. I finished this cake on a counter space of less than 2 x 2 feet and next to a sink. Sometimes you just have to be flexible and make do with what you have to work with.
