Catch me absolutely making Jimmy Snakes a fan of the Harry Potter books and mentally comparing Ford to a couple of the character’s actions. Mainly because the road was long, lonely, and he had a lot of spare time without that little need to sleep or breathe or eat, technically.

well my dear person it so happens that aus exist and anything can happen in those worlds.

in this case I was thinking either jimmy gets drawn up to gravity falls bc of the Weirdness Magnetism or smth and meets Ford and has some Stuff(TM) bc of Stan/Ford similarities (like Stan owes Jimmy and it takes a hot minute to figure out Wait That’s Not Stan but) 

or when they’re both old and jimmy crosses over them while collecting souls for ye olde demon boss holding his soul ransom and has a fling with ford and/or looks at his soul  and is so intrigued he stays in town longer to figure out wth happened to him.
