omg for real!! i loved rose but the one thing i hated was her relationship with the doctor, like just ditching mickey straight away, and how they treated him badly and all
EXACTLY god this is... opening the worst can of worms i can open bUT i love rose as much as the next person but her treatment of mickey was shit, the doctor’s treatment of him was shit (no, “respecting him in secret but not in front of rose” does not fucking count), mickey deserved SO MUCH better the dude was blamed for rose’s murder FOR A WHOLE FUCKING YEAR before she trotted back into his life, and he was still loyal for her and still loved her!!! then she pulls the “the doctor’s much more important than a boyfriend lol” shit IN HIS FACE (this is why i can’t stand this line and people love it and UGH), and he helps rose reunite with the doctor and he joins her and the doctor and he CONSTANTLY KEEPS GETTING SHIT ON bc lol he’s mickey the idiot so it’s okay, right??? and UGH the more time passes the more i hate it anyone who’s ever been bullied should hate it with a passion but people just ignore it. and then mention mickey/rose as if it ever was a good and healthy relationship??? when rose says “before i met the doctor my life was empty and boring” and THAT INCLUDES MICKEY (and jackie, but that’s another thing) aND god i’ve got so many issues with this crap
