4/27: Sunday Morning @ The New Wheel

Our first Sunday Morning @ The New Wheel was a huge success, so we are super excited for our second monthly Sunday Event which will take place on the last Sunday of April (4/27). Here are the highlights:

9am - 12pm: National Pinhole Camera Day "Plus One" Group Ride 

In celebration of National Pinhole Camera Day we're going to ride from our shop in Bernal Heights to the "World Famous Camera Obscura of San Francisco" at the Cliff House on Ocean Beach. The keeper of this historical treasure from Playland at the Beach, has offered to open his doors early for The New Wheel to enjoy. Admission to this technological wonder of yore is $3 per person ($2 for seniors 65 and up). We'll head back to the shop afterwards for treats and refreshments.

Our "Plus One" group rides work like this: customers of The New Wheel or other e-bikers can bring themselves, their e-bikes, and one friend. Your friend will be given a wonderful e-bike for the journey. You must RSVP with your name and email/phone, your friends name, and your friends height. Spaces fill up quick so RSVP early by phone or email! 

Total ride distrance: ~16 scenic miles

11am - 2pm: Waffles, Fresh Strawberries, Coffee, & New German E-Bikes

We've got a culinary delight in store for you with the perfect pairing: electric bicycles. We'll be serving it up fresh until 2pm so stop by, and while you're here, learn why the 2014 German ebike line-up is so very exciting. We're joined once again by the soon-to-be-open newest addition to Bernal Heights, Pinhole Coffee's JoEllen, who'll be serving the best coffee in town at the best electric bike shop in the world.
