grr i am very frustrated w myself bc i feel like im not making any progress w my running its still fucking hard and i can still barely jog for more than a few mins and i still feel like i have no discipline and its so stupid bc like how at 28 years old do i not have any self discipline like just DO the thing you said you were gonna do omfg. grrrr

so yesterday i had planned on doing a 10k but i only ran about 2.5 miles before i quit for the day. TODAY i actually finished it! i ran 6.21 miles in 1 hour 30 mins which was my exact goal for the day im super proud of myself :-) and a cute little story is when i was only about 2 miles in i passed this older couple walking the other direction and i was gonna say hi but they started literally clapping for me and telling me im doing great 😭😭 that was so nice i couldnt even believe it, im gonna be thinking of them for the rest of my runs forever💗💗💗💗💗
tomorrow i'm doing a 10k run as part of my training.. i was supposed to do it yesterday but i'm finding out that working overnights thurs-sat and then just living a daytime life sun-wed is not really helping my sleep schedule lol. so that's ok ill just rearrange the calendar a little bit so i won't feel bad about it. but i do feel bad that i was supposed to do some strength training on friday and i didnt do that either 🫠
trying to eat enough to bulk in the heatwave and it's like. protein shake. peanut butter from the jar. entire pack of deli meatballs. cheese by the handful. protein shake
since last week breakfasts went so well i'm trying to do the same technique on other meals this week, prepping a bunch of ingredients instead of a bunch of meals. i have pan fried 1lb tofu, boiled 1lb of farro, and roasted 2lb greenbeans 1lb carrots and 1lb broccoli, and done another 2lbs mashed sweet potato for breakfast. yesterday i sat down and just ate 2 lbs of plain roast asparagus lol so this should be a manageable amount of vegetables. this way i can mix whatever i want and add different sauce instead of having to eat the same thing every day. idk why i thought Same Dinner Forever was the only way to meal prep
