Buddy Holly: —Could sing AND write his own music AND play his own instruments (along with Jerry Allison and Joe Mauldin) —talented as FUCK even though he wasn’t considered ”conventionally attractive” (+normalized wearing glasses on stage for other musicians who relied on them!) —he and his wife were both in their 20s, even when they met :))) —no known major controversies (THAT I KNOW OF) (mind you he was still a white male in the 1950s)
