You shot Nicky. You shouldn’t have done that.
[ID: Five gifs of Yusuf and Nicky from The Old Guard. They are all edited to be blue toned, and each gif has one word on it. In descending order, the gifset says “nothing fucks with my baby”.
Gif one: Yusuf lifts himself up after coming back to life in the first test. He wears a backwards baseball cap and long sleeve shirt, sword strapped to his back. He is shown lying down from the shoulder up, lifting his face to look around for Nicky with a worried expression. Nicky looks back at him, covered in blood and angry.
Gif two: Keane lies dead on the floor, his body relaxing as the camera pans up Yusuf’s knees. He is hunched over Keane’s body, one hand clenched in his pants and his face bloody. He looks upset.
Gif three: Yusuf and Nicky sit up quickly as they are startled awake. Yusuf flails a bit, clearly not fully awake but still reaching for Nicky, while Nicky grabs a gun from under his pillow and is ready for a threat.
Gif four: Yusuf and Nicky are on their knees next to each other, blood on their clothes and faces. The guards around them are holding them back, but they lean into each other and touch foreheads, both closing their eyes in relief.
Gif five: Nicky leans forward to kiss Yusuf in the van, a smile on his face. Yusuf’s eyes crinkle as his lips touch Nicky’s, and he looks incredibly pleased. END ID]
